Every wedding day at The Novo begins quietly. The morning light filters through the windows of our private suites as music plays softly, laughter echoes, and the excitement builds.
Each suite includes a full bath with a shower, comfortable seating, and plenty of room for friends and family to gather. It’s where makeup artists work their magic, friends share coffee and stories, and brides or grooms take a deep breath before walking into forever.
Our venue manager often encourages couples to slow down during this part of the day — to enjoy the stillness before the whirlwind of celebration begins.
A First Look in the Courtyard
As the day unfolds, the courtyard comes alive. Beneath string lights and surrounded by weathered brick, couples often choose to share their first look here. It’s a moment that feels cinematic — the soft breeze, the quiet hum of anticipation, the joy that floods the air when they finally see each other.
The courtyard also transitions beautifully into cocktail hour later in the day — a space where guests mingle, sip champagne, and enjoy the warm Texas evening before dinner.
The Ceremony and Celebration
Inside the Main Hall, the atmosphere shifts from excitement to awe. Sunlight dances across the reclaimed wood floors, and the elegant lighting sets the perfect tone for vows, dinner, and celebration.
The Novo’s design allows ceremonies and receptions to flow seamlessly — no rushing guests outdoors or rearranging spaces on the fly. After vows are exchanged, guests transition naturally into a celebration filled with laughter, music, and connection.
